Established in 2010, Welcome Home Girlfriend provides a venue of home and hospitality for special events. With the tag line “A Place to Find Yourself”, many options are available to do just that. It is a new and unique concept that opens a private home for your personal party or business event.
The 4th Friday of every month (not the last) is a unique experience for women, a mini retreat with an open door policy from 5:00 pm until 1:00 am. With a small charge, ladies can experience perpetual chick flicks, bottomless root beer floats (their signature drink), bottomless theater popcorn, conversation corners, board games, a wide variety of fun and extravagant hats and complete availability of the house with 20 different themed rooms.
Women have come from as far as the Seattle area, The Dalles and Corvallis, just to experience “Ladies Night Inn”. It is definitely worth the trip.
Rooms are available for your own custom event, whether it is for craft nights with movies on the big screen, Bunco or other games, birthday or graduation celebrations and more. You create the event and they will help you define the plan for maximum success.
With a projector and theater, small business meetings may be conducted in a fresh environment that is “outside the box”.
Girls birthday parties are a big hit with a wide variety of dress up attire, soda fountain and unique play areas such as The Little House (a play house) and Fort Mox (the boys cowboy play house) complete with an indoor slide and swing in the “Undersea Toy Tunnel”.
Linda Moxley had a vision to create a space for her family to have holidays and events that would make a memory, but it turned into much more.
As a mother of 7, a grandmother of 13, and a retired Executive Administrative Assistant, she has a sympathetic perspective of the needs of women from all walks of life, to escape~ to relax~ to restore ~to renew their lives.
Welcome Home Girlfriend is not only Linda’s business, it’s her home. Because of this, events are by reservations only. This business is not open daily to the public, although if you are interested in a tour, you can contact Linda at any time to schedule a private tour.
You can view their calendar of events on their website, or view their room themes in the gallery of photos. Each room and level is given a fun, fancy name, such as the Garden Gazebo Guest Room, the European Library and the Cabin to name a few.
Welcome Home Girlfriend has a lovely Facebook community that is updated daily with events, photos and inspirational thoughts. It is the best place to keep posted on what is going on at Welcome Home Girlfriend.
